Born from a collective of artists building experimental AV festival installations, autoAV is a full‑time design studio creating affordable audio / visual technology.
Our original project, aNCS, boasted multiplayer 32" touchscreen digital audio workstation (DAW) controllers – allowing festival-goers to quickly and easily create electronic dance music.
aNCS featured at a number of festivals, proudly performing for three years at Latitude Festival. Our designs were built for and stress tested in wild and challenging outdoor environments.
From the festival fields to the design studio
Along our journey – complimented by many skilled employments – we’ve developed deep expertise in software programming, hardware design, modular fabrication and battery‑powered networking. This lets us create affordable experiences that can deploy in some of the most challenging outdoor environments.
We handle design, prototyping & production with a small, agile team focused on rapid prototyping and fabrication. Our technology is born from a lack of affordability – every board, enclosure and harness is constructed in‑house.
The autoAV team also love solving interesting problems, we are skilled software engineers that think "outside the box", our services include everything from business tools to computer game design. We have a keen focus on single page applications (SPA) designs - frictionless in browser / kiosk apps for industrial and commercial settings.
